SERAPHICUM CONGRESS CENTRE

The Seraphicum complex is inside a natural park with maritime pines, eucalyptus, mimosas and Mediterranean trees. The property, owned by Franciscan Fathers, was recently renovated and it is managed by a team of lay staff. This was a University college founded in 1587 by Pope Sixtus V.

Located in the elegant EUR district of Rome, not far from the Laurentina terminal station of Metro Line B – in 20’ you are in downtown Rome, the Colosseum, main railway station Termini.

You may reserve your accommodation in the EUR district or in downtown Rome, considering to reach the Congress Centre by metro Line B.

How to get there:

By public transport from the Termini Station

Take the underground line B to the Laurentina stop, exiting the station, turn right onto Via Laurentina for 200 meters, at the traffic light on the right you will find Via del Serafico, 1.

By car

Take the G.R.A. exit 25 towards Laurentina centro, continue for about 2.5 km, at the traffic light turn right into via del Serafico.

From the airports

In a picturesque corner of the Rione Trastevere, in the little square of Piazza dei Mercanti, stands, according to legend, the residence of the famous condottiero Ettore Fieramosca, which today houses our Restaurant.

The Fieramosca Restaurant, is located inside a medieval building, an ancient manor house with adjoining warehouses for goods and fodder, representing a valuable example of an excellently preserved medieval tower house. Today this restaurant evokes the ancient and popular tradition of Rome, leaving the visitor enchanted who will be able to live, for one evening, the magical life of the Trastevere of old times.

Here, you can taste the typical dishes of Roman cuisine with a touch of refinement, in a fusion of tradition and creativity.

With its evocative and “timeless” appearance, Piazza dei Mercanti has inspired some of the greatest Italian directors and has been the location of famous movies, such as Mamma Roma (1962) by Pier Paolo Pasolini, starring the splendid Anna Magnani, Ladri di Biciclette (1948) by Vittorio De Sica, Il marito (1958) by Nanni Loy, with the unforgettable Alberto Sordi, and Peccato che sia una canaglia (1955) by Alessandro Blasetti, with Sophia Loren, Vittorio De Sica and Marcello Mastroianni.

VISA INFORMATION
AND INVITATION LETTERS

Several NON-EU citizens will need a Visa to enter Italy. We strongly recommend you to check the official website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for updated and detailed information regarding entrance visas to Italy. We also suggest you to contact the Italian Embassy or Consulate nearest to you. Invitation letter is not enough to obtain VISA for most NO-SCHENGEN countries (i.e.: countries outside EU). Check your status at the above link Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs The Organizing Committee will make every effort to facilitate the issuance of visas. We strongly recommend to provide the necessary documentation to the Embassy or Consulate well in advance. The invitation letter will not be legally or financially binding on the Organizing Committee. Expenses related to the Congress shall be borne by Delegates themselves. The Organizing Secretariat will help you if you need a letter of invitation for visa purposes. After you have completed the Wacem 2024 Congress registration process and have paid the registration fees, you can request a VISA INVITATION letter by sending an email to wacem24@fullday.com including the following information:

Your full name as per passport
Country of residence and full private address
Your passport number and expiry date
Your place and date of birth
Citizenship
Your workplace and affiliation

If for any reason you will not be able to get a visa, the Congress registration fees will be fully reimbursed, upon presentation of the refusal letter by the Embassy or Consulate.

Le giornate congressuali saranno accreditate separatamente onde facilitare l’acquisizione dei crediti formativi.
Il Congresso sarà accreditato per massimo 500 partecipanti, sono stati attribuiti 2,1 crediti per ogni giornata formativa. Sarà accreditato per le seguenti professioni:

L’assegnazione dei crediti ECM è subordinata alla partecipazione ad almeno il 90% delle sessioni scientifiche in programma.
La presenza sarà rilevata tramite badge elettronico, è necessario far rilevare la presenza per ogni singola giornata.
Il test di verifica ECM non è previsto per eventi con una partecipazione superiore alle 200 persone. E’ richiesta la compilazione di un form per la scheda gradimento evento per la rilevazione della qualità.
